Getting to Albury

Drive. Albury, NSW is located on the Hume Highway approximately 3.5 hours drive from Melbourne, 3 hours from Canberra and 6 hours drive from Sydney.

Fly.
Albury is conveniently serviced by air with direct flights in Dash-8 aircraft from Brisbane (1.5 hours) and Sydney (1 hour). The small airport is extremely close to town, easy to use and convenient.

Train.
Direct train services are also available from Southern Cross Station, Melbourne.

Accommodation

Transport in Albury

If coming for the weekend, you can get around simply walking and taking advantage of optional transfers from hotel to the summit venue. Car hire is available at the airport.

Beechworth
. This small gold-rush era town filled with amazing colonial era buildings. See Ned Kelly’s courthouse, the Woolshed Falls, Beechworth Honey or visit fine dining establishment Provenance or simply kick back on the verandah of Tanswell's Commercial Hotel.


Yackandadah
. Another quaint gold rush era town worth a visit.


Wineries
.Take a tour around the wineries and cellar doors of Rutherglen.


Falls Creek Ski Resorts and Victorian High Country
. Drive down the Kiewa Valley highway to Mt Beauty, the gateway to the Falls Creek Ski resorts.
